JAC (Justice, Advocacy & Compassion)
Mission: to exist as an outward expression of inward transformation, magnifying God’s kingdom here on earth by empowering the community to serve the last, the least, and the lost.
We desire to be a resource and provide the Newsong family creative outlets to express their inner transformation and make a difference through local and global holistic ministries. In addition to corporately aligning our energies so every Newsong member can express their transformation, we strive to keep personal discipleship and leadership development woven into the fabric of our ministries.

The JAC Ministry is made up of 4 Components:
1. Head- This is the “education” component in which we help to resource, educate, and provide people with the knowledge of things happening around the globe, highlighting issues that are affecting the last, least, and lost in the world both locally and globally.
2. Heart- This is the “experiential” component in which we provide spaces and opportunities for people to experience God’s heart for the last, least, and lost in a personal and intimate way. We believe that through experiential interactions people will be moved into action as what they know and what they feel come together to connect on a heart level.
3. Hands- This is the “doing” component in which we help to provide platforms for people to serve. We want to create opportunities for people to do something to make a difference for Kingdom purpose and Kingdom impact. We want to move people into action.
4. Feet- This is the “going” component in which we want to send people to go out—locally, regionally, and globally. Whether it be on a short term missions trip or a longer term experience, we want to mobilize people to go out into the world and experience God outside of their common context. We hope to partner with other organizations around the globe to send individuals and teams to serve the last, least, and lost.
Join the Team:
The JAC ministry is a unique team comprised of people that desire not only to live out the call to be involved in the issues of social justice in their own lives, but also want to see God’s people mobilized to do the same. We find that the “cause” value can be difficult to live out as it often times requires discomfort and inconvenience. This team exists to help build and be that bridge in connecting people that want to make a difference with their lives by providing and resourcing tangible platforms and opportunities to live out this area of our faith.
