Communication
The Communication team oversees and manages all the print, web and emerging media communications & marketing at NOC, both within the church and to the community. The Comm team consists of the Design team, Web team, IT team and Editorial team. Our focus is to communicate how God is transforming lives at NOC and around the world, as well as keep connected with NOC’s events and activities. The Comm team also publishes the NOCcast weekly bulletin. Pick one up this Sunday!
We are a volunteer driven ministry, so we are always looking for passionate, available and talented people to join the Communications team! Here are some of the current opportunities to serve:
Communication Art
Do you dig those cool video slides on Sunday? Can you do static art? Do you enjoy working on the computer? Are you a graphic designer? Can you design websites? This team is for you!
This team designs graphics for each sermon series, the website, and special events and activities. It puts together slides to accompany the Sunday worship music and message. This team is a key component of our Sunday Services as we continue to create life-changing moments in this age of visual communication. We also need designers to help design, update and layout the weekly NOCcast bulletins.
Video Team
Do you jive with Steven Spielberg or like watching commercials? Then the video team could be for you!
The Video Team puts together clips, video bumps, and short pieces and works with other teams to produce some incredible videos for our special events and weekend services. This team also helps video tape each service as well as operates the cameras during the service. If you have the ability to film, edit, or direct, check out this ministry. Your own equipment is not necessary.
Web Team
Do you speak asp? php? .Net? Java? css? This is the team for you!
The Web Team oversees the ongoing development & updates for our website(s), working with our CMS (church management system), and continually looks for innovative ways to connect with people via the internet or emerging technologies.
Writer/Reporters
Do you like to write stories? Interview people? Report on events and activities? This is the team for you! Our weekly NOCcast publication needs writers and reporters!
Photo Team
Are you an aspiring photographer? professional? hobbyist? Whatever your skill level, we would love to have more creative photo artists on our team. We live in a visually inspired culture, and we are constantly looking for images that inspire and compel people to action! Bring your point-and-shoot or SLR and come snap away!
