First Steps
Welcome to Newsong NOC!
When you are ready to take the first step towards God or towards Newsong, we are here to help you in anyway we can. Our desire is to help you discover the many options available to become part of the life and energy of our third culture church.
Next Steps
Connections Dinner:
We’ve designed a non-threatening and really fun way to check us out, learn about Newsong and to meet several members of our pastoral staff - the Connections Dinner. This introduction to Newsong gives us the opportunity to meet you and share the history, vision and values of our unique church community, our mission and what we’re passionate about and how you can participate in the life of Newsong if that is something you choose to do.
To sign up for the Connections Orientation, please contact us at nocconnect@newsong.net.
First Steps toward God in Community
Life Groups:
It’s hard to follow Jesus by ourselves. In fact, God never meant for us to be alone as Christ followers, but to be in authentic community with others. At NOC, we believe there is no better way to get plugged into our community than by “doing life” with those around you! We invite you to experience life in a small group community where you can love, learn, serve and reach out with others!

Identify With God’s Community Through Baptism
Newsong Baptism Class
This may be all new and even scary for you, because being a Christ follower involves more than just showing up on Sundays. In early times, shortly after people said “yes” to Jesus, they were baptized and identified fully with community of Christ followers. Baptism is an outward act of signifying an inward transformation that has taken place through having a personal relationship with God. It is a public declaration of your decision to repent of your sins, believe in Jesus and His death and resurrection, and identify yourself as a child of God in the presence of God’s community.
If you are interested in getting baptized, contact Kumi Nakagomi at kumi.nakagomi@newsong.net.
